Hello everyone! My name is Chad Hall. I am almost 22 years old and I was born and raised in Marietta, Georgia. I have had my fair share of memories and great deal of interesting things that have happened in my life. I grew up under my mom and dad (Mark and Sebreania Hall) and my one brother, Samuel. It was quite the time growing up in Marietta, GA a great suburb of Atlanta. As a child I spent a lot of time in Atlanta at the old Braves stadium, Turner Field. It was awesome. Other than that I lived a pretty normal but busy childhood. I started my athletic career at the young age of 4 years old. I started playing baseball which led to quite the lengthy 9 year career. Then, in about the 3rd grade I began playing soccer. Which led to another 8 year career. It wasn’t until 7th grade when I began playing lacrosse. Lacrosse gave me a lot of opportunities that I never imagined would happen. I played lacrosse from 7th grade until my sophomore year of college. If it wasn’t for lacrosse I am not sure that I would have ended up at Piedmont. Lacrosse was my gateway to a whole multitude of opportunities. Recently I have got into a lot more here at Piedmont. I am a current Sports Communication and History major here at Piedmont. I have almost completed my history program and have only just begun my Sports Communication program. Recently, just last semester, I was given the opportunity to sit along side Brett Loftis while calling the Piedmont athletic events. This has been my greatest opportunity yet and opened up the door to pursuing Sports Communication. Its like living in a dream which could end up being my lifetime career. Other than that, I have big aspirations for the spring semester. I cannot wait to get back on the mic with Brett in the weeks ahead. I am also excited for the opportunity given with Audio Production I with DVC. Being on the radio is quite the feat as well. And for the entire staff at the Swanson Center and I am very excited to see all of the things ahead within these programs. I wish I would’ve started this earlier but I sadly did not. One thing that I did not mention earlier is that I have a very fond obsession with tattoos. I currently have a half sleeve made up of 7 tattoos, I have 8 total. I am currently working on finishing out my arm and then beginning an entire leg sleeve. If you know me personally, you will know that I am very passionate about tattoos and let alone art in general. I have very broad interests all across the board. Sports are another one of my passions. Especially sports here at Piedmont University. Piedmont sports have been big on my radar ever since I arrived here in 2018. Professional sports are also big in my life, especially Braves Baseball. Like I mentioned earlier, I practically grew up at Turner Field and have been to a mass amount of Braves games throughout my 22 years. In October I was able to attend a World Series Game in Atlanta for the first time since 1995. It was quite the experience and something that I will hopefully be able to experience again.
