In this chapter, Briggs talks about photojournalism. In this chapter, Briggs explains how photos can also tell a story. Which is why some artist use pictures instead of words. Photos capture emotions which allows people to understand what is going on.

The chapter speaks about how to use a camera. Also how angle’s play a big role in a picture. To fully capture an image you must understand what you are trying to get a picture of. The picture surroundings in the picture should never more focused on than the actual image. Which is why the importance of lighting is used. Briggs emphasizes this because in photojournalism, you can not allow lighting to ruin a picture. In photography, there is such thing as too much or too little light.

While capturing stories in pictures, sometimes it is best for pictures not to be planned. The best pictures come from the most authentic scenes in life.
